حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ وَعَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ عَائِشَةَ هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْمَلُ فِي بَيْتِهِ شَيْئًا قَالَتْ نَعَمْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْصِفُ نَعْلَهُ وَيَخِيطُ ثَوْبَهُ وَيَعْمَلُ فِي بَيْتِهِ كَمَا يَعْمَلُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي بَيْتِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, and from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, who said: A man asked Aishah: "Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, do any work in his house?" She said: "Yes, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to mend his sandal, sew his garment, and do work in his house as any one of you does work in his house."
