Ibn Numayr told us, he said: Muhammad, meaning Ibn Amr, told us, he said: Abu Salamah told us, from Aishah. He said: I said: "O Mother, how was the fasting of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" She said: "He would fast until we would say he would never break his fast, and he would break his fast until we would say he would never fast. I never saw him fast in any month more than his fasting in Sha'ban; he used to fast Sha'ban except for a little, rather he used to fast all of it."
