حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ التَّبَتُّلِ.

Hammad ibn Mas'adah narrated to us: Ash'ath narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Sa'd ibn Hisham, from Aisha: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade celibacy.
