حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْوِي شَيْئًا مِنْ الشِّعْرِ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ شِعْرَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَوَاحَةَ كَانَ يَرْوِي هَذَا الْبَيْتَ وَيَأْتِيكَ بِالْأَخْبَارِ مَنْ لَمْ تُزَوِّدِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us, from Sharik, from al-Miqdam ibn Shurayh, from his father, from A'ishah - he said: I said to her: "Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ever recite any poetry?" She said: "Yes, the poetry of Abdullah ibn Rawahah; he used to recite this line: 'And he brings you the news, whoever did not provision you.'"
