حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَيْمَنُ بْنُ نَابِلٍ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ كُلْثُومٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْبَغِيضِ النَّافِعِ التَّلْبِينِ يَعْنِي الْحَسْوَ قَالَتْ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ لَمْ تَزَلْ الْبُرْمَةُ عَلَى النَّارِ حَتَّى يَلْقَى أَحَدَ طَرَفَيْهِ يَعْنِي يَبْرَأَ أَوْ يَمُوتَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us: Ayman ibn Nabil narrated to us, from a woman of Quraysh called Umm Kulthum, from A'ishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You should take the disliked-but-beneficial [remedy], talbinah (barley gruel)" - meaning the broth. She said: "And whenever anyone of his family fell ill, the cooking pot would remain on the fire until [the patient] reached one of the two ends" - meaning either recovery or death.
