حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الصَّغِيرَاءِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ كَانَ عِنْدَنَا سَعَةٌ لَهَدَمْتُ الْكَعْبَةَ وَلَبَنَيْتُهَا وَلَجَعَلْتُ لَهَا بَابَيْنِ بَابًا يَدْخُلُ النَّاسُ مِنْهُ وَبَابًا يَخْرُجُونَ مِنْهُ قَالَتْ فَلَمَّا وَلِيَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ هَدَمَهَا فَجَعَلَ لَهَا بَابَيْنِ قَالَتْ فَكَانَتْ كَذَلِكَ فَلَمَّا ظَهَرَ الْحَجَّاجُ عَلَيْهِ هَدَمَهَا وَأَعَادَ بِنَاءَهَا الْأَوَّلَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us: Isma'il ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Abi al-Saghira' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from A'ishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If we had the means, I would have demolished the Ka'bah and rebuilt it, and given it two doors: a door through which people would enter and a door through which they would exit." She said: "So when Ibn al-Zubayr took charge, he demolished it and gave it two doors, and it remained so until al-Hajjaj overpowered him, and he demolished it and restored its original construction."
