Affan told us: Wuhayb told us: Abdullah ibn Tawus told us, from his father, from Aisha, that she had entered ihram for Umra, then arrived without performing tawaf around the House until she menstruated. So she performed all the rites, having also entered ihram for Hajj. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her on the Day of Sacrifice: 'Your tawaf will suffice for both your Hajj and your Umra.' But she refused, so he sent her with Abd al-Rahman to al-Tan'im, and she performed Umra after the Hajj.
