حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ السُّدِّيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَهِيِّ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ مَا كُنْتُ أَقْضِي مَا يَكُونُ عَلَيَّ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ إِلَّا فِي شَعْبَانَ حَتَّى تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Affan told us: Abu Awana told us: Isma'il al-Sudi told us, from Abdullah al-Bahi, from Aisha, who said: I would not make up the days I owed from Ramadan except in Sha'ban, until the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed away.
