حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَمْدَادَ الْعَرَبِ كَثُرُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى غَمُّوهُ وَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ يَفْرِجُونَ دُونَهُ حَتَّى قَامَ عَلَى عَتَبَةِ عَائِشَةَ فَرَهِقُوهُ فَأَسْلَمَ رِدَاءَهُ فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَثَبَ عَلَى الْعَتَبَةِ فَدَخَلَ وَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمْ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلَكَ الْقَوْمُ فَقَالَ كَلَّا وَاللَّهِ يَا بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ لَقَدْ اشْتَرَطْتُ عَلَى رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ شَرْطًا لَا خُلْفَ لَهُ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ أَضِيقُ بِمَا يَضِيقُ بِهِ الْبَشَرُ فَأَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بَدَرَتْ إِلَيْهِ مِنِّي بَادِرَةٌ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ كَفَّارَةً.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Surayj told us: Ibn Abi al-Zinad told us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith, from Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn al-Zubayr, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, that A'ishah said: the reinforcements of the Arabs became so numerous around the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that they distressed him, and the Emigrants stood up to shield him from them, until he stood at the threshold of A'ishah's room; they pressed upon him, so he let his cloak slip into their hands and leapt onto the threshold and went in, and said: "O Allah, curse them." A'ishah said: "O Messenger of Allah, the people are ruined." He said: "Not at all, by Allah, O daughter of Abu Bakr - I have made a condition with my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, that will never fail: I said, 'I am only a human being; I feel the constraint that a human being feels; so whichever of the believers I have wronged with an outburst, make it for him an expiation.'"
