حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَيْتٌ لَيْسَ فِيهِ تَمْرٌ كَأَنَّ لَيْسَ فِيهِ طَعَامٌ.

Abu Sa'id told us: Abd al-Rahman told us: I heard my father narrating from Amrah, from A'ishah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "A house with no dates in it is as if it has no food in it."
