حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا مُسْتَتِرَةٌ بِقِرَامٍ فِيهِ صُورَةٌ فَهَتَكَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُشَبِّهُونَ بِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

Abu al-Mughirah told us: al-Awza'i told us: al-Zuhri told us, from al-Qasim, from A'isha, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came in while I was hiding behind a curtain that had an image on it, so he tore it up, then said: "The people who will receive the harshest punishment on the Day of Resurrection are those who imitate the creation of Allah, Mighty and Sublime."
