حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الْخِيَارِ دَعَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَذْكُرَ لَكِ أَمْرًا فَلَا تَقْضِينَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا دُونَ أَبَوَيْكِ فَقَالَتْ وَمَا هُوَ قَالَتْ فَدَعَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَرَأَ عَلَيَّ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ { يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ } { إِنْ كُنْتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ } الْآيَةَ كُلَّهَا قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ قَدْ اخْتَرْتُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَرَسُولَهُ قَالَتْ فَفَرِحَ بِذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Ishaq told us: Abu Awanah informed us, from Umar ibn Abi Salama, from his father, from A'isha, who said: When the verse of choice was revealed, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, called me and said: "O A'isha, I want to mention something to you, but do not decide about it without consulting your parents." She said: "What is it?" She said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, called me and recited to me this verse: {O Prophet, say to your wives} {If you desire Allah and His Messenger and the abode of the Hereafter} the whole verse. She said: I said, "I have chosen Allah, Mighty and Sublime, and His Messenger." She said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was pleased with that.
