حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمِعَ صَوْتَ صَبِيٍّ يَبْكِي فَقَالَ مَا لِصَبِيِّكُمْ هَذَا يَبْكِي فَهَلَّا اسْتَرْقَيْتُمْ لَهُ مِنْ الْعَيْنِ.

Husayn narrated to us, he said: Abu Uways narrated to us: Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, from Amrah, from Aishah, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came in and heard the sound of a child crying, and said, "What is the matter with this child of yours, crying? Why did you not seek a protective recitation for him against the evil eye?"
