Aisha was asked: "Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) go out to the desert?" She said: "Yes, he used to go out to these valleys. Once he wanted to go to the desert, and he sent for a camel from the camels of charity and gave me a restrained she-camel. Then he said to me: 'O Aisha, you must be mindful of Allah, the Mighty and Glorious, and be gentle, for gentleness is never in anything except that it adorns it, and it is never removed from anything except that it disfigures it.'"
