حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ خَرَجَتْ سَوْدَةُ لِحَاجَتِهَا لَيْلًا بَعْدَ مَا ضُرِبَ عَلَيْهِنَّ الْحِجَابُ قَالَتْ وَكَانَتْ امْرَأَةً تَفْرَعُ النِّسَاءَ جَسِيمَةً فَوَافَقَهَا عُمَرُ فَأَبْصَرَهَا فَنَادَاهَا يَا سَوْدَةُ إِنَّكِ وَاللَّهِ مَا تَخْفَيْنَ عَلَيْنَا إِذَا خَرَجْتِ فَانْظُرِي كَيْفَ تَخْرُجِينَ أَوْ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعِينَ فَانْكَفَأَتْ فَرَجَعَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَتَعَشَّى فَأَخْبَرَتْهُ بِمَا قَالَ لَهَا عُمَرُ وَإِنَّ فِي يَدِهِ لَعَرْقًا فَأُوحِيَ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ رُفِعَ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّ الْعَرْقَ لَفِي يَدِهِ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ أُذِنَ لَكُنَّ أَنْ تَخْرُجْنَ لِحَاجَتِكُنَّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Aisha narrated: "Sawdah went out at night to relieve herself after the verse of hijab was revealed. She was a tall woman who towered over other women. Umar saw her and called out: 'O Sawdah, by Allah, you are not hidden from us when you go out, so consider how you go out.' She turned back and came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who was eating dinner, and told him what Umar had said to her. He still had a bone in his hand when revelation came to him. When it was lifted from him, with the bone still in his hand, he said: 'Permission has been granted to you to go out for your needs.'"
