حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَتْ لَنَا حَصِيرَةٌ نَبْسُطُهَا بِالنَّهَارِ وَنَتَحَجَّرُهَا بِاللَّيْلِ خَفِيَ عَلَيَّ شَيْءٌ لَمْ أَفْهَمْهُ مِنْ سُفْيَانَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ يُصَلُّونَ بِصَلَاتِهِ فَقَالَ اكْلَفُوا مِنْ الْعَمَلِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَمَلُّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا وَكَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى صَلَاةً أَثْبَتَهَا وَكَانَ أَحَبُّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَيْهِ أَدْوَمَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Aisha said: "We had a mat that we would spread during the day and partition off at night." She said the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The Muslims were praying along with his prayer, so he said: 'Take upon yourselves of deeds what you can bear, for Allah, the Mighty and Glorious, does not tire until you tire.' And when he prayed a prayer, he would make it consistent. And the most beloved of deeds to him was the most regular one."
