حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَيْ أُمَّتْ أَخْبِرِينِي عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ كَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ فِي رَمَضَانَ وَغَيْرِهِ سَوَاءً ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِيهَا رَكْعَتَا الْفَجْرِ قُلْتُ فَأَخْبِرِينِي عَنْ صِيَامِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَصُومُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ قَدْ صَامَ وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ قَدْ أَفْطَرَ وَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَامَ شَهْرًا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ صِيَامِهِ فِي شَعْبَانَ كَانَ يَصُومُهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Salamah said: "I said to Aisha: 'O mother, tell me about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).' She said: 'His prayer in Ramadan and other months was the same - thirteen rak'ahs, including the two rak'ahs of Fajr.' I said: 'Tell me about his fasting.' She said: 'He would fast until we would say he has fasted (continuously), and he would break his fast until we would say he has broken his fast (continuously). And I never saw him fast any month more than Sha'ban; he used to fast it except for a little.'"
