حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَا أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ يَسْأَلُ بِلَالًا كَيْفَ مَسَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ قَالَ تَبَرَّزَ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمِطْهَرَةٍ أَيْ إِدَاوَةٍ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ وَعَلَى خِمَارِ الْعِمَامَةِ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمِطْهَرَةٍ بِالْإِدَاوَةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad bin Bakr and Abdur-Razzaq narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us: Abu Bakr bin Hafs bin Umar informed me: Abu Abdur-Rahman informed me, from Abu Abdullah, that he heard Abdur-Rahman bin Awf asking Bilal how the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, wiped over his khuffs. He said: He relieved himself, then called for a small water-vessel, and washed his face and hands, then wiped over his two khuffs and over the covering of his turban. Abdur-Razzaq said: then he called for a water-vessel, meaning a water-container.
