Abdullah ibn al-Harith narrated to us: al-Dahhak narrated to me, from Abu al-Nadr, from Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abdullah ibn Salam, who said: I said -- while the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was sitting -- We find in the Book of Allah that on Friday there is an hour in which no Muslim servant, while in prayer, coincides with it and asks Allah, Mighty and Majestic, for something, except that He gives him what he asked. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gestured indicating a small part of the hour. He said: I said, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, has spoken the truth. Abu al-Nadr said: Abu Salama said: I asked him which hour it was. He said: The last of the hours of the day. I said: But that is not an hour of prayer. He said: Indeed it is -- for the Muslim servant, when he has prayed and then sits in his place of prayer, is held back only by waiting for the prayer.
