الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Ibn Jurayj told us: Ibn Shihab told me concerning al-Qasamah (the oath procedure) regarding bloodshed, he said: Al-Qasamah existed in the pre-Islamic period -- from the hadith of Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman and Sulayman ibn Yasar, from men among the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the Ansar -- that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) confirmed it as it had been in the pre-Islamic period, and he judged by it between some people of the Ansar concerning a slain man whom they claimed had been killed by the Jews.
