حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ أَنَّ أَسْلَمَ أَبَا عِمْرَانَ التُّجِيبِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يَقُولُ صَفَفْنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ فَنَدَرَتْ مِنَّا نَادِرَةٌ أَمَامَ الصَّفِّ فَنَظَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ مَعِي مَعِي وَكَذَا قَالَ أَبِي قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ فَبَدَرَتْ مِنَّا بَادِرَةٌ وَقَالَ صَفَفْنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari: he said, "We formed our ranks on the day of Badr, and one of us surged forward ahead of the row. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, looked at them and said, 'Stay with me, stay with me.'" [Ma'mar's account has a slight variation in wording with the same meaning: "one of us surged forward, and he said, 'We formed our ranks on the day of Badr.'"]
