Abu Zibyan said: Abu Ayyub campaigned against the Byzantines and fell ill. When death drew near he said, "When I die, carry me, and when you engage the enemy, bury me beneath your feet. I will tell you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him - were it not for my condition, I would not have told it to you. I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, 'Whoever dies not associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise.'"
