Ibrahim b. Abdullah b. Hunayn narrated from his father: Al-Miswar b. Makhramah and Ibn Abbas disagreed about a pilgrim in the state of ihram washing his head. Ibn Abbas said he may wash it, and al-Miswar said he may not. So they sent me to Abu Ayyub and I asked him. He poured water over his head, then brought his hands forward and back over it, then said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, do it."
