Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Ali ibn Zayd narrated to us, from al-Yashkuri, from Hudhayfah, who said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, will there be evil after this good, as there was evil before it? He said: O Hudhayfah, read the Book of Allah and act upon what is in it. Then he turned away from me, so I repeated it to him three times, knowing that if it were good I would follow it, and if it were evil I would avoid it. So I said: Will there be any evil after this good? He said: Yes — a blind, deaf, and dumb tribulation, and callers to misguidance at the gates of Hell; whoever answers them, they will cast him into it.
