الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated to us by Abdur-Razzaq, who said: It was narrated to us by Bakkar, who said: It was narrated to me by Khallad ibn Abdur-Rahman, that he heard Abu al-Tufayl narrate that he heard Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman say: 'O people, will you not ask me? For the people used to ask the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about good, while I used to ask him about evil. Indeed Allah sent His Prophet, peace be upon him, and he called the people from disbelief to faith, and from misguidance to guidance. Those who responded, responded, and so what had been dead of the truth came alive, and what had been alive of falsehood died. Then prophethood departed, and the caliphate remained upon the pattern of prophethood.'
