حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ شَيْخٌ صَالِحٌ حَسَنُ الْهَيْئَةِ مَدَنِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خُبَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ كُنَّا فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَطَلَعَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ أَثَرُ مَاءٍ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَرَاكَ طَيِّبَ النَّفْسِ قَالَ أَجَلْ قَالَ ثُمَّ خَاضَ الْقَوْمُ فِي ذِكْرِ الْغِنَى فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا بَأْسَ بِالْغِنَى لِمَنْ اتَّقَى وَالصِّحَّةُ لِمَنْ اتَّقَى خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْغِنَى وَطِيبُ النَّفْسِ مِنْ النَّعِيمِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Amir told us, Abdullah ibn Sulayman told us - a righteous old man of good appearance from Medina - Mu'adh ibn Abdullah ibn Khubayb told us, from his father, from his uncle, who said: We were in a gathering when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, appeared before us, with the trace of water on his head. We said, "O Messenger of Allah, we see you cheerful in spirit." He said, "Indeed." He said: then the people plunged into discussing wealth, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "There is no harm in wealth for the one who fears Allah, and health for the one who fears Allah is better than wealth, and cheerfulness of spirit is among the blessings."
