حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ يَخْطُبُ بَعْدَمَا قُتِلَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِذْ قَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَزْدِ آدَمُ طُوَالٌ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعَهُ فِي حَبْوَتِهِ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي فَلْيُحِبَّهُ فَلْيُبَلِّغْ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ وَلَوْلَا عَزْمَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'ba told us, from Amr ibn Murra, from Abdullah ibn al-Harith, from Zuhayr ibn al-Aqmar, who said: While al-Hasan ibn Ali was delivering a sermon after Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, had been killed, a tall, dark-complexioned man of the Azd stood up and said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, placing him (Hasan) in his lap, saying: Whoever loves me, let him love him; let the one present convey this to the one absent. And were it not for the emphatic command of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I would not have told you this.
