حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ هُوَ ابْنُ وَاقِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَحْسَابَ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا هَذَا الْمَالُ.

Ali ibn al-Hasan told us: al-Husayn, that is Ibn Waqid, informed us: Abdullah ibn Buraydah told us, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The lineages that the people of this world resort to - it is this wealth.
