حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ سُلَيْطٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ لَمَّا خَطَبَ عَلِيٌّ فَاطِمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهُ لَا بُدَّ لِلْعُرْسِ مِنْ وَلِيمَةٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ عَلَيَّ كَبْشٌ وَقَالَ فُلَانٌ عَلَيَّ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنْ ذُرَةٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Ru'asi told us: My father told us, from Abd al-Karim ibn Sulayt, from Ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said: When Ali proposed to Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with them both, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A wedding must have a feast. Sa'd said: I will provide a ram, and another man said: I will provide such-and-such an amount of maize.
