Rawh narrated to us: 'Ali ibn Suwayd narrated to us from 'Abdullah ibn Buraydah from his father, who said: 'Uyaynah ibn Badr, al-Aqra' ibn Habis, and 'Alqamah ibn 'Ulathah gathered with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and they mentioned the fortunes (of their tribes). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If you wish, I will tell you: the fortune of Banu 'Amir is a red or dark camel eating from the tips of trees" - he said: and I think he said "in a meadow" - "and Ghatafan is a rugged, harsh hill that repels people from it." He said: Al-Aqra' ibn Habis said: "Then where is the fortune of Banu Tamim?" He said: "Would that he had kept silent."
