حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ مَمْطُورٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أُرَاهُ أَبَا مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا آمُرُكُمْ بِخَمْسٍ آمُرُكُمْ بِالسَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ وَالْجَمَاعَةِ وَالْهِجْرَةِ وَالْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَمَنْ خَرَجَ مِنْ الْجَمَاعَةِ قِيدَ شِبْرٍ فَقَدْ خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ وَمَنْ دَعَا دَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَهُوَ جُثَاءُ جَهَنَّمَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَإِنْ صَامَ وَصَلَّى قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنْ صَامَ وَصَلَّى وَلَكِنْ تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي سَمَّاكُمْ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us: 'Abdullah informed us: Ma'mar informed us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Zayd ibn Sallam, from his grandfather Mamtur, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him — he said: I think he was Abu Malik al-Ash'ari — who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'And I command you with five things: I command you to hear and obey, to keep to the community (jama'ah), to migrate (hijrah), and to strive (jihad) in the path of Allah. Whoever departs from the community by a hand-span has cast off the noose of Islam from his neck. And whoever calls with the call of the Age of Ignorance is among the fuel of Hell.' A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, even if he fasted and prayed?' He said: 'Yes, even if he fasted and prayed. Rather, call yourselves by the name Allah has named you: servants of Allah, the Muslims, the believers.'
