الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' told us, from Ali - meaning Ibn al-Mubarak - from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abdullah ibn Abi Qatada, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite in the first two rak'ahs of Dhuhr, making us hear a verse at times, and he would prolong the first rak'ah and shorten the second. He would also recite in the first two rak'ahs of Asr, and he would prolong the first rak'ah of Fajr and shorten the second.
