حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنِ أَبِيهِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ خَلِيطِ الْبُسْرِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَعَنْ خَلِيطِ الزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَعَنْ خَلِيطِ الزَّهْوِ وَالرُّطَبِ لَهُ قَالَ و حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.

'Affan narrated to us, Aban narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah narrated to me, from his father Abu Qatadah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade mixing unripe dates and dried dates, and mixing raisins and dried dates, and mixing half-ripe dates and fresh dates. He said: And Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to me, from Abu Qatadah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a similar narration.
