حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاتِكَةِ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةٌ فِي دُبُرِ صَلَاةٍ قَالَ أَبِي وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُ فِي إِثْرِ صَلَاةٍ لَا لَغْوَ بَيْنَهُمَا كِتَابٌ فِي عِلِّيِّينَ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي مِنْ أَيْنَ سَمِعَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاتِكَةِ قَالَ كَانَ أَصْلُهُ شَامِيًّا سَمِعَ مِنْهُ بِالشَّامِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Wasiti told us, from Uthman ibn Abi al-Atikah, from al-Qasim Abu Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Umamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A prayer following upon a prayer" -- my father said: and someone else said "in the wake of a prayer" -- "with no idle talk between them, is a record in Illiyyun." Abdullah said: I asked my father, "From where did Muhammad ibn Yazid hear from Uthman ibn Abi al-Atikah?" He said: "His origin was Syrian; he heard from him in Syria."
