حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ نَافِلَةً لَكَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا كَانَتْ النَّافِلَةُ خَاصَّةً لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Wakee' told us, al-A'mash told us, from Shimr ibn Atiyyah, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abu Umamah -- [he was asked, is it] a voluntary act for you? He said: "The supererogatory prayer was only specific to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him."
