حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَغْبَطَ أَوْلِيَائِي عِنْدِي مُؤْمِنٌ قَلِيلُ الْحَاذِ ذُو حَظٍّ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ أَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ وَكَانَ فِي النَّاسِ غَامِضًا لَا يُشَارُ عَلَيْهِ بِالْأَصَابِعِ فَعُجِّلَتْ مَنِيَّتُهُ وَقَلَّ تُرَاثُهُ وَقَلَّتْ بَوَاكِيهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Wakee' told us, Ali ibn Salih told us, from Abu al-Muhallab, from Ubaydullah ibn Zahr, from Ali ibn Yazid, from al-Qasim, from Abu Umamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The most enviable of My close friends in My sight is a believer of light means, possessed of a share in prayer, who worships his Lord well and is inconspicuous among the people, not pointed at with fingers; his death comes quickly, his estate is small, and few weep for him."
