حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِيدَ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ وَصَلَّى أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ وَعُمَرُ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ وَعُثْمَانُ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed the Eid prayer, then gave the sermon. Abu Bakr prayed then gave the sermon, and Umar and Uthman likewise — without adhan and without iqamah.
