حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ وَالْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا الْأَسْوَدَ بْنَ هِلَالٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا مُعَاذُ أَتَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ يَعْبُدُونَهُ وَلَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ أَتَدْرِي مَا حَقُّهُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ قَالَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ أَنْ لَا يُعَذِّبَهُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Abu Hasin and al-Ash'ath ibn Sulaym, that they both heard al-Aswad ibn Hilal narrate from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Mu'adh, do you know what is the right of Allah upon His servants? He said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: They worship Him and not associate anything with Him. He said: Do you know what is their right upon Him if they do that? He said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: That He will not punish them.
