حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ مَرَّ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِحَسَّانَ وَهُوَ يُنْشِدُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَحَظَ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ كُنْتُ أُنْشِدُ وَفِيهِ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَجِبْ عَنِّي اللَّهُمَّ أَيِّدْهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ قَالَ نَعَمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sufyan b. 'Uyaynah told us, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id, who said: 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, passed by Hassan while he was reciting poetry in the mosque, and glanced at him disapprovingly. He said: "I used to recite when there was one in it who is better than you," then he turned to Abu Hurayrah and said: "Did you hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Answer on my behalf; O Allah, support him with the Holy Spirit'?" He said: "Yes."
