حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُمْهَانَ حَدَّثَنَا سَفِينَةُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَضَافَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَصَنَعَ لَهُ طَعَامًا فَقَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ لَوْ دَعَوْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي كَامِلٍ فَدَعَوْهُ فَجَاءَ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى عِضَادَتَيْ الْبَابِ فَرَأَى قِرَامًا فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْبَيْتِ فَرَجَعَ فَقَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ لِعَلِيٍّ الْحَقْهُ فَقُلْ لَهُ لِمَ رَجَعْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِي أَنْ أَدْخُلَ بَيْتًا مُزَوَّقًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Affan told us, Hammad b. Salamah told us, Sa'id b. Jumhan told us, Safinah Abu 'Abd al-Rahman told us, that a man was hosted by 'Ali b. Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, who prepared food for him. Fatimah said: "If only we invited the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him" — and he mentioned the like of Abu Kamil's hadith — so they invited him, and he came and placed his hand on the two door-posts, and saw a curtain in a corner of the house, so he turned back. Fatimah said to 'Ali: "Catch up with him and ask him why he turned back, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "It is not for me to enter a house that is decorated."
