حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ وَحَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ قَالَ لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ عَنِ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مِثْلَهُ.

'Abd al-Rahman b. Mahdi and Muhammad b. Ja'far told us, they said: Shu'bah told us, from al-Hakam and Hammad, from Ibrahim, from Abu 'Abdullah al-Jadali, from Khuzaymah b. Thabit, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, concerning wiping over the leather socks, that he said: "Three days and their nights for the traveler, and a day and a night for the resident." 'Abd al-Rahman b. Mahdi told us: Hisham told us, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, from Abu 'Abdullah al-Jadali, from Khuzaymah b. Thabit, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, likewise. Muhammad b. Ja'far told us: Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, from Abu Ma'shar, from al-Nakha'i, from Abu 'Abdullah al-Jadali, from Khuzaymah b. Thabit al-Ansari, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said likewise.
