حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَحَادِيثَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ اقْتَطَعَ مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ قَالَ فَجَاءَ الْأَشْعَثُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ فَقَالَ مَا يُحَدِّثُكُمْ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ فَحَدَّثْنَاهُ قَالَ فِيَّ كَانَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ خَاصَمْتُ ابْنَ عَمٍّ لِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بِئْرٍ كَانَتْ لِي فِي يَدِهِ فَجَحَدَنِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيِّنَتُكَ أَنَّهَا بِئْرُكَ وَإِلَّا فَيَمِينُهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا لِي بِيَمِينِهِ وَإِنْ تَجْعَلْهَا بِيَمِينِهِ تَذْهَبْ بِئْرِي إِنَّ خَصْمِي امْرُؤٌ فَاجِرٌ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ اقْتَطَعَ مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ قَالَ وَقَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ { إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ } الْآيَةَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya b. Adam told us, Abu Bakr b. Ayyash told us, from 'Asim b. Abi al-Najud, from Shaqiq b. Salamah, from 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud — three hadiths. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever seizes the property of a Muslim man without right will meet Allah, Mighty and Majestic, while He is angry with him." He said: Al-Ash'ath b. Qays came and said: "What has Abu 'Abd al-Rahman been telling you?" He said: So we told him, and he said: "This hadith was about me. I disputed with a cousin of mine before the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, concerning a well that was in my possession, and he denied it to me. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Your proof that it is your well, otherwise his oath.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what good is his oath to me? If you make it rest on his oath, my well will be lost, for my opponent is a wicked man.' The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Whoever seizes the property of a Muslim man without right will meet Allah, Mighty and Majestic, while He is angry with him.'" He said: And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, recited: {Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah...} the verse.
