حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ مَوْلَى الْبَرَاءِ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُطَرِّفٌ يَعْنِي الْحَارِثِيَّ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ وُهْبَانَ أَوْ وُهْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ أَنْتَ وَأَئِمَّةً مِنْ بَعْدِي يَسْتَأْثِرُونَ بِهَذَا الْفَيْءِ قَالَ قُلْتُ إِذَنْ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ أَضَعَ سَيْفِي عَلَى عَاتِقِي ثُمَّ أَضْرِبَ بِهِ حَتَّى أَلْقَاكَ أَوْ أَلْحَقَ بِكَ قَالَ أَوَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ تَصْبِرُ حَتَّى تَلْقَانِي.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Adam and Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr, freedman of al-Bara' — and he praised him well — told us, they said: Zuhayr told us, from Mutarrif — Ibn Abi Bukayr said: Mutarrif, meaning al-Harithi, told us — from Abu al-Jahm — Ibn Abi Bukayr said: from Khalid ibn Wuhban or Wuhban — from Abu Dharr, who said: he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "How will you be with leaders after me who monopolize this booty for themselves?" I said: "Then, by the One who sent you with the truth, I will place my sword on my shoulder, then strike with it until I meet you or join you." He said: "Shall I not direct you to something better than that? You should be patient until you meet me."
