حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا يَرْوِي عَنْ رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنَّكَ مَا دَعَوْتَنِي وَرَجَوْتَنِي فَإِنِّي سَأَغْفِرُ لَكَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ فِيكَ وَلَوْ لَقِيتَنِي بِقُرَابِ الْأَرْضِ خَطَايَا لَلَقِيتُكَ بِقُرَابِهَا مَغْفِرَةً وَلَوْ عَمِلْتَ مِنْ الْخَطَايَا حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ عَنَانَ السَّمَاءِ مَا لَمْ تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا ثُمَّ اسْتَغْفَرْتَنِي لَغَفَرْتُ لَكَ ثُمَّ لَا أُبَالِ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us, Hammam told us, Amir al-Ahwal told us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Ma'di Karib, from Abu Dharr, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrating from his Lord, Mighty and Sublime, that He said: "O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you for what has been in you; and even if you were to meet Me with sins nearly as great as the earth, I would indeed meet you with forgiveness nearly as great, so long as you do not associate anything with Me; and even if you were to commit sins until they reached the clouds of the sky, so long as you did not associate anything with Me, then sought My forgiveness, I would forgive you, and then I would not care." Affan told us, Mahdi ibn Maymun told us, from Ghaylan ibn Jarir, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Ma'di Karib, from Abu Dharr, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the like of it.
