حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السِّخْتِيَانِيِّ وَخَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ كِلَاهُمَا ذَكَرَهُ خَالِدٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ بُجْدَانَ وَأَيُّوبُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ أَجْنَبَ فَدَعَا لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَاءٍ فَاسْتَتَرَ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ إِنَّ الصَّعِيدَ الطَّيِّبَ وَضُوءُ الْمُسْلِمِ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ الْمَاءَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ وَإِذَا وَجَدَ الْمَاءَ فَلْيُمِسَّهُ بَشَرَتَهُ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ هُوَ خَيْرٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Sufyan informed us, from Ayyub al-Sikhtiyani and Khalid al-Hadhdha', from Abu Qilabah - both of them mentioned it: Khalid, from Amr ibn Bujdan; and Ayyub, from a man, from Abu Dharr - that Abu Dharr came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, having become sexually impure (junub). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, called for water for him, so he screened himself and washed. Then he said to him: "Indeed, clean earth is the purification (wudu') of the Muslim, even if he does not find water for ten years; and when he finds water, let him apply it to his skin, for that is better."
