Affan narrated to us: Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us: al-Harith ibn Hasirah narrated to us: Zayd ibn Wahb narrated to us, who said: Abu Dharr said: "That I should swear ten times that Ibn Sayyad is the Dajjal is more beloved to me than that I should swear once that he is not." He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had sent me to his (Ibn Sayyad's) mother and said: "Ask her how long she was pregnant with him." So I went to her and asked her, and she said: "I was pregnant with him for twelve months." He said: Then he sent me to her again and said: "Ask her about the cry he made when he was born." So I went back to her and asked her, and she said: "He cried the cry of a one-month-old child." Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him (Ibn Sayyad): "I have hidden something for you." He said: "You have hidden for me the snout of a dusky sheep, ad-dukhkh." He meant to say "ad-dukhan" (smoke) but could not, so he said "ad-dukhkh, ad-dukhkh." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Be gone; you shall never exceed your due measure."
