حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْكُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ ذَرِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَسُبُّوا الرِّيحَ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ رَوْحِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى وَسَلُوا اللَّهَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ وَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا وَشَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ.

Abdullah told us, Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Kufi told us, Ibn Fudayl told us, al-A'mash told us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Dharr ibn Abdullah, from Sa'id ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza, from his father, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not curse the wind, for it is from the mercy of Allah, blessed and exalted, and ask Allah for its good and the good of what is in it and the good of what it has been sent with, and seek refuge in Allah from its evil and the evil of what is in it and the evil of what it has been sent with."
