الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hashim ibn al-Qasim told us, Shayban told us, from al-Ash'ath, from Ja'far ibn Abi Thawr, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to command the fasting of 'Ashura and urge us to it, and he would take care to remind us of it. But when Ramadan was made obligatory, he neither commanded us to fast it, nor forbade us from it, nor did he take care to remind us of it.
