حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ.

Abdullah narrated to us: Khalaf ibn Hisham narrated to us: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us from Simak, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, named Madinah 'Tabah'."
