حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَن جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ قَعْدَةً لَا يَتَكَلَّمُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ خُطْبَةً أُخْرَى عَلَى مِنْبَرِهِ فَمَنْ حَدَّثَكَ أَنَّهُ يَرَاهُ يَخْطُبُ قَاعِدًا فَلَا تُصَدِّقْهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Jabir ibn Samurah said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) delivering the sermon standing on his pulpit, then sitting for a while without speaking, then standing and delivering another sermon. Whoever tells you that they saw him delivering the sermon while sitting, do not believe them.
